Low and Middle Income Countries

The first mile of the referral system is often the biggest hurdle in LMIC (Low and middle income countries). If we can get patients into care faster and diagnosed earlier, there is a better chance for cure. Addressing the cancer burden now is a way to change the future for children and adults in developing nations, by adding to their productive life-years. We can work together to change the way cancer care is delivered in developing countries and soon talk about cancer survivors, instead of cancer mortality.
